My Question or Issue

Hey! I've been trying to create an alarm to wake me up with Spotify, but it seems Google Assistant just doesn't want to do it.

Google Assistant will set a regular alarm named "that plays my library". The phrase I use is: "set an alarm for 4:15 a.m. that plays my library'. Hope someone could help me out here!

Hello @Hubo!

As far as I'm concerned, they might have not implemented Spotify ringtone for alarms in Google Assistant. I also tried to with several commands and I couldn't find the option in Google Assistant.

However, if you want to set an alarm with Spotify, you can do it from the Google Clock app in android. There, you should be able to set it.

Hmm, I must be misinformed then, there were several websites claiming it was possible. Hope to see something like this soon.

No problem at all, I really hope they implement this soon. However, I think that's more a task for Google rather than for Spotify.

I also wanted to set an alarm with Spotify and Google Assistant, so I'll let you know whenever that's possible. I'll also keep you posted if I find a command that lets you set it.
