[Desktop][Other] Removing songs from “recommended” list in playlists

I often use the “recommended” list beneath my created playlists to find new songs to add to them. I would like to be able to remove songs from this list. I often find myself several pages in, with tons of songs that I’ll never add to the list just cluttering up the recommended and making it hard for me to find my spot when I inevitably lose it. I propose a “remove” button that will clear the song from the recommended list, allowing us to more easily find songs we do want to add. If the removed songs and the added songs could somehow be used to inform the algorithm further on what to recommend, then even better!

We hope you don't mind us moving your post out of the ideas section to one of our Help boards as it fits better here.

Even though we don't have a button to remove a specific song from those recommendations, there's a Refresh button which updates all the recommendations, by removing the old ones and replacing them with new ones. You can find it at the bottom of the recommendations, to the right. You can refresh as many times as you wish.

I do know of the refresh button, which is why I put that in the suggestions/ideas. The refresh doesn’t actually remove the songs, they remain and it works more like a page button. I would like the ability to outright remove the songs from the recommended list, that way I don’t have to hit “refresh” several times to get back to my spot and can focus more on finding new songs for my playlists than trying to keep track of how many times I have to hit “refresh” to get back to the list I was listening to.

On a similar note though, could I also request that hidden songs don’t show up on discover weekly? I’ve had a few times now where my Discover weekly will update and there’ll be songs I’ve hidden taking up space that could have been used for music I potentially could have liked.

We understand your suggestion more clearly now and we agree that such a feature could come handy to more people!
It can be posted again in our Ideas Board, but please do stick to the guidelines for Idea submissions, so your suggestion gets approved faster and without any complications.

Tip: When submitting it, be as clear as possible and keep in mind that only one change request per idea is allowed, so if you want to suggest something else, like not showing hidden songs in Discover Weekly for example, then please do that in a separate idea.

We hope your idea(s) get necessary amount of votes!
