How can I download music in my apple watch? It does not work...

I have an Apple Watch SE and I wanted to download music to go running without my phone, but it does not work. I have a family premium package and still have a lot of space left in my watch. When I click on the download button, it says 1 out of ... , but it stays at 1 for weeks. I have tried deleting the app to put it back, but it still doesn't work...

ive got an apple SE watch and have been a Spotify family premium family customer for years and im not pretty upset I can’t play any music while my watch is offline I.e if I go running.

I have done all the troubleshooting. Have latest versions etc.

have downloaded playlists to watch and as soon as the watch offline they are unavailable.

saw previous msgs about this but hoping there’s now a fix - what’s the point of being able to download music if you can’t listen offline!!!!
