How do I get a refund for premium?

How do I get a refund for premium?

Hi,
I have recently bought a sonos play 1 which has been great with spotify until my premium expired. I've tried to re-authorise spotify so I can keep playing through sonos which has not been successful. I now have paid for 2 spotify premium accounts which I can't use, so I would like to get a refund while I'm still within the 14 days..... Any ideas any1? Thanks. Josh

Hello @hadwinjosh

So you can't receive Spotify Premium and have been double charged? Check to see if your account is actually subscribed to Spotify - https://www.spotify.com/account/subscription/

Are you also using the same Spotify account you subscribed with?

I'll escalate this and a Spotify moderator will talk to you within a few hours.

What's a Spotify Rock Star, and how do I become one?
I'm not a Spotify official! Just here to help!

So I setup my sonos and decided to try spotify on it which was good but my membership lapsed while I was away. Since then I've tried to re-authorise my account twice which has resulted in me buying premium both times but it still says unable to browse music when I click onto sonos. I understand it is as likely my problem lies with sonos but have found it difficult to contact them. 😫

Hello @hadwinjosh

So i am just confirming you do have premium features when you don't use Sonos?

If so, then the issue lies with Sonos, I think i had someone else with the same issue a little bit back, and this was fixed with a firmware update, can you please check if your Sonos Firmware is up to date?

Thanks! 🙂
