Is there any specific restriction for Kids account where they cannot see playlists when they search?

Thanks for posting this thread in the Community!

The content in the Kids app is curated by a team of our editors so that it's suitable for accounts created for kids.

In order for us to provide a safe and pleasant environment in the Kids app, it functions a bit different than the regular Spotify app and in the Kids app, there is no content marked as explicit.

However, keep in mind that as it's possible for the Family manager to share playlists with the Kids app, if any of the playlists consists of explicit content, it could be viewed/played from the Kids app. 

With this said, in case you want to share playlists in the Kids app, make sure to double-check the content.

I don’t mean in the Kids app. 
I mean a kids account in the normal app.

What you're referring to is a Managed account, i.e. an account for young listeners under Premium Family.

Managed accounts have access to personalized playlists created by Spotify, as well as playlists directly shared with them. The option to find public playlists created by other users is not available.
