My gift card wont redeem, whenever I try to put my code it never works

I bought a premium gift card 8 months ago and am now redeeming it for the first time. It was bought at target, and activated but it never redeems. It has a weird looking symbol that sort of looks like an 8 and a penis but I dont know what to do about it. I literally cannot redeem it no matter what i do.

Gift cards only work for the Individual Premium plan. You cannot use a gift card if you're using a Duo, Family, or Student plan.
