My spotify account was connected to my old discord and now it doesn’t work

I deactiaved my old discord account that spotify was connected to. Recently, I created a new discord and it won’t let me connect to my spotify. I’ve tried everything. I turned off spotify allowing discord and then turned it back on, and it still won’t work. I have looked at all of the help things and nothing works.

Just to confirm, are you seeing any kind of error message when you try to connect your new Discord account to Spotify? 

Also, have you made sure that the old Discord account is completely deleted? If not and you still have access to it, make sure to follow the steps here to disconnect it from Spotify. This could be the reason why you can't link it to a new one.

You can also try removing the Discord access from Spotify by following the steps in this article.

yes i do see an error message. The “failed to connect your spotify account to discord” it’s been saying this for a few days.

And yes. My old discord was permanently deactivated.

the attachments you sent with steps is what i’ve been trying, but it still won’t work.

To make sure we cover all bases, could you try logging out from Spotify on the account page? Then, try deleting your cache & cookies from your web browser, you should be able to do this in the browser settings.

Once it's done, log back in to the Spotify account page again and follow the steps in the Support article linked by @Novy to re-link to Discord.

If you're using the Discord app, you can also try clearing cache from the app to see if you notice any difference.

Can some tell me what to do please, my discord account for some reason removed Spotify from my profile and I keep trying to reconnect it but it doesn’t let me, and when I click the button it doesn’t lead me to the site. Please I really wanna add my account back, it also doesn’t let me connect any other things.

Could you let us know what exactly happens when you try to re-connect your account? Are you following these specific steps? If so, let us know if you're getting any error messages. 

On another note, we recommend that you give it a try on a different device to see if the same happens. 

If the issue persists across devices, make sure to send us a screenshot of what you're seeing so we can take a closer look. You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert image option in the post editor. Make sure not to send any private info.
