No more embedded link? What gives?

I used to right-click on tracks to get the code to implement music into my site, but it's not there anymore (the option). Help?!

Spotify has discontinued the embed code option from the desktop client.

You can still copy the link (version 1.0.1+) or URI (version 1.0.2) into this website to get the embed code:

https://developer.spotify.com/technologies/widgets/spotify-play-button/

If you want Spotify to add back the embed option, then kudo this idea:

https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Ideas/Desktop-Bring-back-the-quot-copy-embed-code-quot-feat...
