Not playing content properly on TV

I have a sky glass tv, with sky Q as the streaming was not for me due to no recording ability. So, Spotify has been on my sky glass tv since i got the tv back in February, it appears whether my sky Q box is on or not, and it will work, and spotify is also available on my sky Q box under 'apps', and both are obviously connected to wi-fi. The issue that i am having however, is that it will play 1 or 2 songs, then it will just stop playing for no reason, and it will stay on the song it has just played. In order to play music again, i then have to either replay the song that it has just played, or i have to skip a song, which actually skips the following song, so i then have to go back one to play the song that it missed out.
This is a recurring issue that i have with my spotify, however it is only on the TV that i have this problem, my phone plays them fine. Even if i connect my phone to my tv to play spotify, it still stops playing after a few songs. Why is this? I do not think i can unistall it on sky glass tv, or on sky q box, as there is no way to re-download them if i was to do this. Any ideas?
