Premium users hearing ads

Had premium for a long time and just started getting adverts while listening to music. Mostly about how I can advertise on Spotify. Sort it out.

@xiecuno I'm afraid that it's the case... As I have mentioned in my previous posts.
Maybe they are AB Testing (how much I hate being a developer now?) and they are only impacting specific users/devices, hoping that we are good with "Keep listening the podcast in the PC, if there you don't get ADS"...
I'm really upset with having to use specific devices to listen what I like to listen, either if it's a podcast or music. Because I pay for not having ads.

My Question or Issue

Spotify on PS5 now plays unskippable adverts after a few songs despite having Premium. Other premium features like picking individual songs still work.

Is this a new feature or a bug?

Judging by the amount of new posts on this topic, this now effecting everyone, regardless of system or sub (premium, duo, family etc) me included!

Not sure, it seems to have only begun in the last 24 hours (I stream to my speaker every night, and it didn't happen last night)

As soon as I disconnect from my speaker, the app knows its a paid account again. But when I reconnect, it goes back to acting as if it's the free version.

I hope this doesn't mean they are looking at making casting audio an extra feature you have to pay more for.....

Ads on podcasts make sense but I'm seeing Ads on my Daily mix 1...

I'm having similar issues. Getting ads during music when I have Premium Duo. I logged into my WIndows Laptop Webplayer and still getting ads when I log out and log back in

I am having same issue, unacceptable… Will be switching to youtube music 🤦‍♀️
