My Question or Issue

While in "Your episodes" when we see the list of episodes and we have some episode on going let say the episode has 30 minutes, and we are in the minute 3.

It is written  "3 minutes left", when it should have writen "27 minutes left". In the desktop version it works fine, the erro is in the Android ap, altough the green bar of the porpotion oof played/unplayed seems fine

I can confirm it's fixed on my end.

It appears to be fixed for me. The playtimes are no automatically updating on the playlist page until I click away and click back, but then it is showing the correct times.

EDIT: Fixed by recent update 14-Mar-25

My Question or Issue

Once started, a podcast episode in My Episodes should show the time remaining, but instead the time is now the opposite, so reads as "{time played} remaining". If you barely start an episode, it will show up with "<1min left" - see below. Not a functional issue, but should be easy to fix.

  1. It is better but not completely fixed the issue happened to me today. Please fix! It happens if you go to Your Episodes, click on a podcast episode while it's playing, wait a bit, then hit back on andriod to go back to Your Episodes list. The time left on the Your Episodes list is incorrect like it's frozen from when you last left the Your Episodes list
  2. It's failing to refresh. Sometimes it works sometimes not

Hey @Shonuffharlem,

Thank you for keeping in contact.

if you're still having this issue, would you mind checking if your app is running its latest update? You can do it by following the steps mentioned in this article

If persistent, it's also worth performing a clean reinstall of the app as it helps getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.

It's updated on March 17 2025. I've done two clean reinstalls since problem arose.

Hey @Shonuffharlem

Thanks for your reply.

You mentioned this was happening on two phones (Galaxy S21 and S25). Would you mind checking the exact OS and Spotify version they're running? You can find the OS version in your phones' settings > About phone > Android version. Also, the Spotify version can be found in the Spotify app by tapping on your profile picture in the upper left corner > Settings and Privacy > About > Version

We'll be waiting for your reply.

I keep having this problem where the time length has become longer than it actually is. My neurodivergent brain likes to check how long of an episode I have left so this just makes it annoying. I deleted the app and reinstalled. Same issue.
