Recommended Songs Algorithm Not Working

My Question or Issue

Spotify used to recommend songs based on the songs in my playlist when out of nowhere across all my devices, it started only recommending songs based on the title of the playlist. I really liked the old way because it helped me find new music so I'm hoping there's a fix and this isn't a new feature

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community.

As a heads-up, that will be the expected behavior of the app if the playlists we're talking about are new and empty.

If that's not the case regarding the type of playlist, it'd be great for you to do a clean reinstall of the app across all your devices to get any temporary issues fixed. This could do the trick in your case 🙂
