Samsung UE55AU7172 keeps skipping songs without any sound coming out

Hi. I have a Samsung UE55AU7172 TV and since last week i cant listen to spotify through the TV app. It keeps skipping songs. I checked other users and i tried everything. Connection, HDMI cable, TV firmwire, App firmwire, Reinstall app on mobile, cleared cache files and still i cant make it work.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing such issues with your TV playback.


Can you let us know if you're playing tunes directly from the TV app, or you're using your phone as a remote to play over Spotify Connect?


If you're experiencing the issue in both situations, you can try to set up your TV’s input audio, navigate to Settings and select Sound, and then select Expert Settings (it’s named “Additional Settings” instead of “Expert Settings” on some Samsung TVs).  Select HDMI Input Audio Format, and choose Dolby Digital

Same here, happening for months now on Samsung TV app and on fire stick app. Very frustrating, as I see this has been an issue reported many time over the last couple of years. All other apps on my TC work perfect. Any chance there is a fix coming.
