Showing Public Playlists

I have all of my music sorted by playlists in folders on my account. Even though all the playlists are marked as public, they don't show up on my account for others to see since they are in a folder of playlists. It would also be nice to have the ability to modify the order the public playlists show up on our profiles.

We hope you don't mind us moving your post out of the ideas section to one of our Help boards as it fits better here.

That being said, we'd like to add some insights. It's important for you to know that every playlist you added to your profile is going to be displayed there, no matter if they're stored on folders you've created. To add a playlist to your profile, you can go to their three-dot menu, or right-click on them (if using the desktop app) to see the option:

 

Note that the Add to profile option is only visible if the playlist is indeed set as public. If the playlist was created by someone else, you should see it right away.

When a playlist is created by you, it's automatically added to your profile. Nonetheless, this doesn't apply to every single playlist you created or saved in your library, there are some things to consider instead:

• For the playlists you added to your library and were created for others: you should add them to your profile manually in order for others to see them when they enter your profile. The same happens with playlists made for you by Spotify. They should be added to your profile manually.
• For the playlists you created: if they were previously set as private, and you made them public, you should add them to your profile manually in order for others to see them there.

Now, currently the number of playlists that can be viewed is 200. If you're having inconveniences to see your playlists on your profile even if you added them there, please let us know and we'll do our best to help.
