Songs suddenly stop when playing.

Hi, everyone
When I play songs on the app they start out fine, but every now and then the song just suddenly stops and you have to press the play button, which then restarts the song from the beginning. It is happening more and more frequently.

I also received a message on the app that it won't be able to play in the background without the necessary permissions. I have given Spotify full permissions, but the problem persists.

Any suggestions, please?

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.

We can recommend that you check your device's battery settings and make sure that Spotify is set as an exception if you're using the battery optimization option.

It's also a good idea to clear cached files of your Spotify app. Steps can be found in this article. 

You mentioned you've already checked the permissions, however, it should be noted that Data Saver could also be the reason for this behavior. If you're using one-try disabling it to see if the app behaves the same way.

If that's not causing the issue, could you let us your Spotify version and, if possible, if you experience this on other mobile devices?
