Spotify financing military AI

Spotify financing military AI

Hi there,

It is hard to find information on this Helsing.ai company. Could you enlighten us ? On what will be invested these 100 million euros ? I refuse to give money to Spotify if his CEO invests in the arm / weapons industry. If there are no guarantees and transparency about this I will cancel my subscription and call to boycott your service as many others have started. Your silence on that matter is deafening.

This needs to reach more people. I've learned about it just now and I'm already trying out other streaming services as I'm not willing to support such things.

I read about the Ek's investment in New Musical Express. Even though people in the music business appear to be appalled by it, I think consumers in general couldn't care less, or quite on the contrary, may be even happy about it.

In the old days, they used to take drums and horns into the battlefield, but since Vietnam, the combination of music and militia has been so scarce, that today the very idea of combining the most and the least humane industries seems absurd.

But as long as artists have to put their music to Spotify anyway no matter what they think about Ek, and consumers just don't care, he will be safe.

Currently, investments in military companies are considered one of the most successful. The world is in a state of military tension, and many countries are actively engaged in creating weapons. If you manage to invest in shares of companies producing weapons, you can get a big profit.

I’m just now finding out about this and pulling my subscription.

Currently remaking entirely my Apple Music library and syncing my iPod. Spotify, big mistake.
