Spotify won't turn on Smart shuffle

Every time I try to turn on smart shuffle, it will turn on for maybe 2 seconds, and then tell me that I " must be online " for smart shuffle to work. But I am online

In this type of case, we'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app if you haven't tried already. To do so, you just need to follow the steps mentioned in this article. 

If the issue persists, we'd also recommend trying with a different Wi-Fi connection as this behavior could also be related to network restrictions. In case you don't have a different one, you can use a mobile data hotspot to test it.

Lastly, include in your next response the make, model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.
