Why is my storage almost full when I have non of my songs or playlist downloaded what even is other?

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome. 

 

In this case, we'd like to add some insights. Storage shows the general status of your device's memory. Other refers to other apps and data you can locate within your device's memory, along with Spotify. See this:

Depending on the make and model of your device, you should be able to see the storage in more detail in your device settings. In other words, Other does not refer to the total space used by Spotify but the total storage used by other apps and data within your device.


On another note, Spotify uses your device memory to store parts of music and podcasts as cache, so you can play content without lagging. You can clear your cache and remove your downloads by following the steps in this article. You can also check the amount of storage Spotify uses in your device settings.


That being said, we'd recommend checking your device settings and apps if perhaps you need to liberate some storage space.
