My Question or Issue

I want to use the spotify app on my android tv to control other Spotify Connect devices (and not only the TV itself) just like the spotify app on phones or tablets. The TV is nicely placed in the center of the house and the spotify app nicely shows what song is playing, you can skip, ...

The only disadvantage is that it only works for the tv itself. I want to control other Spotify Connect devices like the dining room or the kitchen from the tv. How can I select another Spotify Connect device like on the phone/tablet apps?

The function to control the playback from your TV while the music is playing on another device is not yet possible with the TV app. So in this case, since another user already posted a similar idea in our Ideas Exchange board, we'd recommend adding your vote to it with the thumbs up button to show your support.

If you think your idea should be considered as separate, feel free to submit it again highlighting how your idea is distinct from the existing one. Don't forget to check our guidelines before posting it to avoid any early rejection.
