My Question or Issue

I'm using a embedded linux pc and I'm trying to run spotify trough the browser.

This worked with older versions of the web player, but now it doesn't work for about a month. I used both payed a Free and a Premium accound to verify this.

Error shown in open.spotify.com:

This browser doesn't support Spotify web player, switch browsers or download spotify for your destop.

How to solve his issue? I dont want to use the spotify linux player because this uses to much RAM > 1GB.

Have you tried using a "user agent switcher" to have your browser identify itself as a browser that is supported? That might get around this. Hopefully the chrome webstore extensions work on chromium on your embedded device.

this is not helping.

Chrome stops now at "enable player in your browser" what is enabled

my opinion is that Spotify should fix this issue instead of me creating a workaround

besides this, on firefox it doesn't work.

This is a issue and should be solved by spotiy.

The music of every number stops after about 10 seconds playing. the speaker icon still looks like playing (in the browser).

maybe i should stop my premium accounts
