When I want to play a song it doesn’t and it says Spotify premium

I used Spotify every day but today this happened

Hi @Artinaz, thanks for reaching out.

 

If you're having troubles like these, I'd recommend first taking a look for any additional Spotify accounts you may have. It's possible your missing subscription are in there 🙂

 

There are a few ways you can use to locate a Spotify account. One of them is by checking your email addresses.

 

  • Enter any email addresses you use into our password reset form. If there's an account associated with it, Spotify will let you know in your email inbox.

Tip: you can look for an email with the subject “Reset your password” and then follow the steps to recover your account.

 

  • Check your email inboxes, including any spam or junk folders, for emails from Spotify. If you have any, it’s likely there’s an account associated with that email address. 

Once you've checked your email addresses and found any of the above, you can use that email address to log in.

If you're 100% sure you only have one Spotify account, do you see your payments when you click on the link bellow?

I looked it now and I didn’t have any payment 

Well, if you don't see any payments, your account is not Premium.

 

Are you sure you're not logging in a second account? Could you log out, check your log in credentials and try again?

Ok

I saw and I didn’t have any other accounts.

some hours ago I was watching other people’s post and I saw someone with the same problem as me . So maybe it’s a bug or a problem

You mentioned that you didn't see payments when you checked, but could you let me know if you're seeing a Premium subscription on your account?

 

It would be great if you could attach a screenshot or two (only make sure your username is not visible). 

 

Also, does the behavior persist across other devices and in the Web Player?

Sorry I can’t attach a photo but I saw in my account that it has written: “your plan:Spotify free”

and also everything is normal in web player and I can play the music

Do you have the Premium subscription receipts in your email?

 

Also, are you saying that when logging in your account via Web Player, it works as a Premium account?

 

What other devices are you currently using?

I don’t have premium just when I want to play any song I can’t and on my screen it writes :”you’ve discovered a Spotify premium feature get Spotify premium to unlock “

and also my web player works like a normal free Spotify 

and I don’t have any other devices 

I see @Artinaz,

 

There's one more thing you can check in this case. Please click on this link and see if the country is the one you're currently in. If not, change it to the correct one.


Of course, avoiding using any VPN as it changes your current location to a different one and this may affect the proper behavior of the app.

Everything got ok and I can use Spotify 

actually I should have just changed my location
