Why can't I see the songs playing when I use Spotify on my Chromebook?

I have been using Spotify on my Chromebook and all of a sudden it wouldn't show the song playing or let me skip when I would look at what music is playing.

Are you using the web player or you've installed the app on the Chromebook? Have you made sure you're logged in on the right account, i.e. an account with a Premium subscription? Here is how to check if you have multiple accounts.
