Why do most songs play too fast - at a faster speed than original recordings? This ruins the original song and raises the key it was recorded in.

This is quite the strange issue. Given that there aren't any playback speed controls for songs yet, the only logical explanation would be that these are issues with the recordings themselves. However, you said this is with "most songs", so that would be odd as well.

So that we can investigate further, please provide us the following info:

• Is this on all devices or only on specific one(s)? What about the web player? If you haven't tested any of this, please do so.
• Does anyone else you know have any similar issues with the same tracks?
• Could you send us the links or URIs of at least a couple of songs that have this issue for you?
• Please make a screen recording of the behaviour where this playback issue can be heard clearly. If the files are too large to attach here in the Community, you can send them to us via Google Drive or as unlisted YouTube videos.

With this information, we’d be happy to investigate.
