Why does the feedback form appear out of nowhere on the website?

Why does the feedback form appear out of nowhere on the website?

While filling out the Help Wizard for another issue, I was interrupted by a second modal requesting feedback for the website. I'm sure this is causing some accessibility issue(s); it's very annoying.

Can this be replaced with a less intrusive notification (perhaps a toast) that only appears once the Help Wizard modal has been dismissed?

I was trying to log a different issue when I ran into problems with the Help Wizard modal that made it borderline unusable. The issue seems to be intermittent since I can use it fine now. Before, parts of page 1 were visible on page 2 (etc.) and the label texts were occluded so that I didn't know what to type in the fields.

Sorry, not related to this issue.

I'm using Firefox 102.6.0esr (64-bit), Windows 10.

When I click: Help wizard broken: Firefox 102.6.0esr (64-bit), W... I get directed to this issue. Is that correct? I believe this is a different issue...

Anyway, I'll attach screenshots for that issue here.

Thanks for the screenshots and for the info shared.


We're not really sure what issue you are referring to. The hyperlink you kindly sent us redirects to your first reply in this thread. Can you clarify to us what you meant?


On another note, did you notice this same behavior on a different browser? It'd be awesome if you could check. 


Lastly, is this happening if you change the internet connection you're using? Is this happening over WiFi? Ethernet? Both? If possible, you can create a hotspot from your phone and connect your computer to it, to see if you notice any difference. Give it a try and let us know if changing the connection makes any difference.


Meanwhile, we'd recommend to check if you have any pending updates for your Firefox browser. To do it, you can follow these steps:

  1. Click the menu button Fx89menuButton at the right side of the Firefox toolbar, go to Help, and select About Firefox. The About Mozilla Firefox window will open.
  2. Firefox will check for updates automatically. If an update is available, it will be downloaded.
  3. When the download is complete, click Restart to update Firefox.
