Xbox volume mixer not working

Xbox volume mixer not working

Xbox Spotify has this built in slider that will progressively lower game audio to better hear Spotify music and vice versa. It stopped working like 30 minutes ago and is driving me crazy. No matter what the slider is set to it won't lower the game volume at all. Already logged out and back in, uninstall and reinstall and restarted my console

Hey @Zarifrax

Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community!

Could you let us know if this happens with all games or only with a specific one?

On another note, would you mind asking a friend or a relative to log in to their account on your device and check if they can replicate this behavior?

We'll be on the lookout.

Hey @OngoingGolem,

Thanks for posting in the Community about this.

What's your Xbox model and firmware version? Have you tried reaching out to Microsoft support about this issue?

Keep us posted.

I don't know if anyone still has this problem or will get it and see this

But, just restart your Xbox, hold down the home button and select restart console

Keep any headset, etc attached for it and it'll work again

I just had this issue and kept the slider at 100 for game, 50 for music and did the restart, fiddled with it and now it works perfect
