my playlists are stuck in random

I've tried de-selecting the green random icon but it does not help

Hello @Davr1949 , welcome to the community.

Some playlists are by default, set to play on shuffle and I do not think there's a way to disable it at the moment.

What you can do is to play the first song in the playlist and then from the now playing bar, turn off shuffle.
