"Add to Home Screen" feature gone

I used to be able to add a shortcut to my home screen (Android) 2 days ago, and now I cannot do it. Why take away such a feature?

It was that one feature that made me drop Youtube Music.

Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE that this OFTEN USED FEATURE was removed arbitrarily, inexplicably, and with zero justification when asked.  Very unfortunate and frustrating.  Was a HUGE perk to the otherwise functional but very flawed app....

This is an asinine change to Spotify. It makes it so much easier, quicker, and especially safer to open up a playlist while driving. I hate being on my phone while driving and that feature helped out alot. I was about to make a folder to have mine and my gf's playlist next to each other, so it'll be easier to switch over. Now I gotta do more steps in order to do that?? What was the purpose of removing that?! I swear, corpos are the most out-of-touch people in this world. And the one I already have on my phone's home screen will eventually stop working!? Doesn't make a lick of sense, I tell ya! If I was able to use YT Music while playing on my PS4/XbOne S, I wouldn't even have Spotify. Can't even have a good shuffle algorithm. Smh.

Please add this feature back in asap. I have an emergency audio playlist for autistic meltdowns/panic attacks. This was a really useful feature for disabled people in general.

Can this feature be brought back please. I recently updated in July 2025 and the feature is gone. It works for singles but not for albums. There are new albums that like to make as shortcuts as reminder to listen to.
