Thanks for your response @maur_maur!

We'd like to clarify that what you mentioned is expected behavior for free users on mobile. If this didn't happen when you created the account it's because you must have been in our free 7 day trial for new users which gives you the Premium benefits so you can test them.

At the moment, free users on mobile can only play music in shuffle. That's why you only hear previews when picking specific songs. It's worth mentioning there are some pick and play playlist that don't have these limitations such as your Daily Mix.

Also, the free experience in mobile doesn't allow users to move the playback forward/backwards which is why you can't change the playback from the playing bar.

To unlock these features on mobile, we invite you to explore our Premium options, or you can also give it a try with the desktop app or the Web player.

Lastly, keep in mind that at Spotify we're always testing new things. This means that over time some features might change, or be removed as this helps build the way for new improvements.  We always appreciate your feedback as this helps us move forward.

Hope this has clarified your doubts.

Hey there @maur_maur,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

We hope you don't mind us moving your post, as it fits better here in this board.

Would you mind giving us more details about the changes you noticed? We'll do our best to help you. Include as many details as possible, so we can better understand what's exactly happening on your side.

On another note, you can customize your playlist covers by following the steps in this article. If you're referring to your profile picture, then you can follow these steps. If perhaps you were referring to a different process, it'd be awesome if you could add more details to your next reply so we can point out the best solution.

Keep us in the loop!

hi! thank you for replying! so first of all, i can’t really play the full songs in my playlist, only previews which wasn’t there case when i first made the new account. Also, there isn’t like a scrubber option when songs are playing (it’s like on for example youtube videos where you can go back to a part or forward) . the two last photos is my spotify now and the first one was when i first made my account. looking forward to your reply!
