Hey @comalley11, thanks for asking in the Community! 🎵

You can use the same account on one device at a time. For example, if you are playing a song on your phone and then open the web player or the desktop app, Spotify Connect will make it a remote control. If you want to play on your desktop using the same account, you can switch, but you cannot use both at the same time.

However, here are a few things that you can do instead to achieve a similar result:

1. Switch to Premium Family Plan (this gives you more accounts on Premium, along with many other features)
2. Save content offline on one of your devices and turn on offline mode so you can listen on one device with an internet connection and another one in offline mode. This removes Spotify Connect from the middle, allowing you to listen to multiple devices on the same account.
