Connecting two free accounts under a family?

My wife and I had free premium plans with our cell phone contracts...when contract ended so did free premium plans. I have an account and she has an account now (free).

If I upgrade to family plan today how can I get her existing account/ID under my new family plan without losing her playlists/songs/etc...

I will sign up but I need to be sure this can be done simply as there is no customer service number it seems.

Hey @mhorwood73 and welcome to the community!

you can add the account of your wife, when you subscribed to Premium Family

Just do it like this:

To invite someone to your family 

1. Go to your family Overview here.
2. Enter the name and email address of your family member.
3. Click send invite
4. Your family member should have received an invitation mail.
5. When he/she accepts it you will get an confirmation mail.

If you can’t see the invite button try to use an incognito tab, clear the cookies of your browser or use another browser.

Just to clarify, of she has an existing "free" ID (that used to be premium) will her old playlists etc still be there? Or will the invite essentially create a "new" account for her?

the playlist etc. will remain and the premium features will be added to the free account.
