So, I was trying to add my daughter to our premium family plan, and I kept getting an error message, that I was not typing her email address in the correct format (for example: JaneDoe09@gmail.com). Yet NOWHERE does it say WHAT the correct format IS! I retyped her address over again and got the same result. I logged out and then back in, and tried again. Same thing. So finally went through the long process of getting to a chat window, and the agent suggested trying all lower case: janedoe09@gmail.com
THAT WAS IT. Problem solved.
But it took like 20 minutes to do something that should have taken 1 minute. So I SUGGEST that you either put a note about the correct format on the ADD page, or program your computers to accept capital and lowercase. It was also frustrating when I tried to add her and it said "incorrect email format" but then gave no indication anywhere as to what was wrong. Took a lot of extra time I don't have.

You sir, deserve a god damned medal for this post.
All I would get is an exceptionally irritating prompt to 'You must enter an email in this format:' with no other information regarding what I was doing wrong. Spotify doesn't have any immediate contact information listed that I've noticed so finding someone contacted them was surprising.
All said and done, shame on their web design team for poor instruction.
