Family account address verification fails

Family account address verification fails

Trying to add a family member and entering the exact same address, the site falsely says something to the effect of "apparently you are in a different country. Try again, when you are at home".

 
Not only am I at home at the exact address, I also am on the very same computer using different browsers for inviting and joining.
 
What might be going wrong?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome. We hope you don't mind us moving your post out of the Chats section to one of our Help boards as it fits better here.

 

When the app is giving that error message, it means that one of the accounts might be registered in a different country (even if you're all in the same house). Keep in mind that when you are the owner of the Premium subscription, the country of your account becomes the one registered on the payment method.

 

In this case, we'd recommend to the user who wants to join your plan to change the country of their account by following the steps in this article to match yours.

 

If the issue persists after matching the countries, since it could be account-related and we don't have access to users' accounts from the Community, we'd recommend contacting our Customer support directly so they can check the accounts and help you further.
