I can't accept my spotify premium family invitation.

I can't accept my spotify premium family invitation.

Hey there,

About a week ago I got an invitation from my brother to a family subscription. But I can't accept it for some reason. Does anyone know how to fix that?

 

Here is a picture of my occuring problem: 

It says: "3 - Hoppla! Da ist wohl etwas schiefgegangen. Versuch es noch mal."

 

I kept on searching solutions for this problem but none of them worked... (like clearing browser cache, try another browser, try in incognito mode, use another connection, USE another DEVICE; that is bull**bleep**...) and now I am stuck with those stupid ads. I really am thinking of switching my music streaming platform. I used spotify almost 3 years now. Sad that they are not able to fix it.

 

Some post on this community forum said almost 2 years ago they were fixing it and that spotify was aware of this problem...

 

By the way, I already had premium with my brother, but then it didn't work anymore so he canceled it.

I had added my bf months ago to the family account, and it was fine.  We didn't pay it and lost it, and then I renewed it.  Since the renewal, I have had to invite him again, which is somewhat fair, but he hasn't been able to accept it.  It always says the invite code is invalid.

 

I posted about this in the Accounts section.  I'm especially frustrated that I can't just email Spotify Support or something.  This isn't something that can be solved by the general Spotify community.  Apple Music is looking better and better.

Yeah, they should implement REAL support, looking at questions or asking the community at that point is not going to work. Atleast a ticket support or email support at their side. But they don't, which is really bad. The community does not know the internals of spotify... only they know.

Maybe I would have better luck if I tweeted them...  @SpotifyCares apparently.  Pfft.
