I can't upgrade to family premium.

I can't upgrade to family premium.

Currently I'm an individual premium account holder. I'm trying to upgrade to Family Premium and it's not letting me. I get the following message: error

Unable to change plans. This could be because you're not eligible for this plan, you're already on it, or you don't have a stored payment method.

I have a stored payment method already.

Hey there! I am happy to help.

 

Can you let me know if you've subscribed directly through Spotify or a third party? This can have an affect on your ability to change plans because if you have subscribed through a third party, you would have to cancel your subscription on their end and wait for your account to revert to Free before you can sign up for the Premium Family plan.

 

If you have subscribed to Premium through Spotify directly and are having issues, can you try upgrading to that plan through this link using a different browser or private window? You can also try upgrading on a different device, if possible. If you're still having trouble, please send me a screenshot of what you're seeing. Make sure to hide sensitive info when posting to the Community.

I subscribed directly through Spotify. I did not use a third party. I've tried upgrading through that URL/Link, via 4 browsers (and private mode too) and my phone; still with the same error.Screenshot 2024-05-22 102959.png

Does Spotify not have tech support?!
