I cannot add myself to a family plan using an invite link.

I cannot add myself to a family plan using an invite link.

After clicking to accept the invite I just get a message saying 'There was a problem. Please try again later.' I have tried this multiple times on both iPhone 14 and MacBook Pro.

I have the same issue and this is quite frustrating

Thanks for reaching out to the Community!

 

In the following scenarios where you already have an active Premium subscription, you'll need to cancel and wait for your account to revert to free:

  • if your account has an active Premium Family/Duo subscription where you're the plan manager
  • if you already have Premium with a partner company (e.g your phone or internet provider)

You can check your current subscription status on your account page. When your account switches to free, you can ask for a new invite to the plan.
