I have family, but got charged for premium.

I have family, but got charged for premium.

I had to change my MC and then when I renewed my payment, it only withdrew for regular premium and not for family... Why? I'm not interested in paying dubble to get it again. Can I just pay the difference? How?

Hey @Woogie79, welcome to the community!

 

Let's first check if you have multiple Spotify accounts following these suggestions. You could've resubscribed using a different account which could cause multiple payments per month. You can cancel any subscriptions you don't use.

 

If you only have one account, but you resubscribed to the regular Premium instead, you won't be charged again for upgrading to the Family plan.

 

In this case, the month or Premium you paid for is pro-rated to the Family plan. This just means that your next billing date is moved forward.
