Missed change of address email and now I can't join the family plan :(

Missed change of address email and now I can't join the family plan :(

I'm getting the following error message:

You can’t join this plan
We couldn’t confirm that you live with the plan manager for this Premium plan. You can join someone else’s plan again in 12 months.

Or find another Premium plan that’s right for you.

Is there any way I can re-join the family plan as I live at the same address!! Thank you for your help!!

Hi there,

Thanks for posting in the Community.

If you're trying to join the same plan that you've been a member before and not a new (different) family plan, there should be no issues with you returning to the plan - just ask the manager of the plan to resend you an invitation link. However if the plan is completely different, then you'll need to wait 12 months as switching between family plans is allowed only once per year, as also explained on the same page I've linked.

If the plan is the same as before and you still can't join it, then please reach out to our Support team here, as they will be able to help you with this matter privately and do changes to yout personal account if need be.

I was travelling and missed the chance to update the address of the very small window of 7 days available to do so . 
now the system doesn’t allow me to rejoin the same family plan . 

could you please guide me how to do it ? 

 

I have the same problem. It is really a shame, how spotify treats its' cutomers. Sending emails an requesting links should be forbidden in times if rising numbers of phishing attacks based on exactly that approach.
@Spotify: you should definitely stop this practise and provide your customers an easy way to re-invite their family members (in my case my wife). And a means to get in contact with spotify!

I Have the same issue was on holidayt got back and now cannot join the family account, how do we fix this?
