Payment outside of Spotify country

I live in Germany, but have all of my banking based in. the Netherlands, where I used to live. As I don't want to complicate my life, I pay everything (including online, etc) through my account in the NL. I want to also pay my Spotify family account with my Dutch account.  

Sportify won't take my Dutch account details, so we are at an impasse. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there a human being at Spotify that could offer a solution to those who use services across borders? How about a scanned copy of a credit card bill or a resident permit as proof? It's great when technology works - frustrating as **bleep** when it does not....
