Spotify Family listening to the same music

I have a spotify family account with my children.

We can't listen to our own music on spotify. I have to listen to the same musis as my son. When I want to listen to a song, they hear the song too.

We can't listen separte to our music.,

To listen to different songs simultaneously you can create seperate accounts for each of your sons, as well as yourself. Obviously, with separate accounts you can play different songs at the same time because the accounts are set up as individual profiles.

The link provided above shows the steps to add members to your main spotify family account. With this, everyone has what appears to be a seperate account, but with only one monthly payment. (From what I can tell, this is what Spotify family premium is primarily for.)
