Spotify Family wrong country?

Spotify Family wrong country?

Hi, I am the main subscriber to Spotify Family. I have a spare slot left on my account that I want to use for myself for specific playlists that I can promote through a facebook group by pasting a link hopefully getting Spotify more sunscribers. Anyway, I have sent an email invite to another of my email addressed and when I accept the invite it states that I am unable to continue and I need to be in the same country as the main subscriber? As far as I'm aware I'm sat at my kitchen table and haven't mysteriously moved address. Can anyone help with this? It's annoying.

Thanks for getting in touch with us, we'll do our best to help you with this.

 

This error message might be caused because of the country on the Spotify account you want to add to the plan, not your actual physical location.

 

In this case, try logging in with the secondary account here and make sure the country matches the one in your main account.

 

If that doesn't do the trick and the country matches, try clearing your browser's cache and cookies or using an incognito window to accept the invite.
