Spotify won't play in two places and I have a family plan.

I need to be able to play one playlist on my phone and another on my Google speakers at the same time, but with the same account. I upgraded to the family plan, but it didn't solve it. I am listening to music on my phone, then my kid wants to listen in their room and it stops my music. It is incredibly annoying. Don't tell me to create a new account for my speakers, because that causes all kinds of other issues.

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Community!

It's currently not possible to play music from the same account on different devices simultaneously. For your particular setup it would be best to register one of the Premium Family subaccounts in the Google Home app and use collaborative playlists so they can be accessible from all accounts on the plan.
