Why can’t join a premium abo?

I want to join my family‘s premium abo but when I follow the invitation link, it says I can only join a premium abo from another person, every 12 months. But the last time I joined another person’s abo was October 2020.. Why? How can I join the premium abo? Thank you 🙂

I'm not aware of any reports that the error message is being shown incorrectly to any Spotify users, so if you're seeing it, I recommend double-checking your subscription history. 🙂
