Hulu and Spotify Discount Linking Account

I'm having trouble authorizing my hulu account with my spotify account for the student discount. The help site said to wait 24 hours, and I did that about a week or two ago and I still haven't had any luck. I only had to renew my subscription, because I already had the student discount. Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?
