I just became a student and want student discount/Hulu but I already bought the 12 month card

I have Spotify Premium because I got a 12 month gift card and now I enrolled as a student. I would like the discount of 4.99 and the Hulu to be applied to my gift card instead of a credit card. But it asks for the credit card instead. Help.
