problem with student account

Hi, today I tried to purchase the Student discount, but unfortunately I can't apply for that because I'm at highschool.. I found it when it says to write wich University you frequent, do you know if they take your money if you arrive to that point? Because I recharged my card of 10$ and I had already 2$, but my card says that I have 7$ so I'm afraid that Spotify used my money and I don't even have the premium account.
