Spotify+Hulu Student Discount "Unable to process card"

Hey, so I've been attempting to activate the student discount and everytime I sign in, I am always met with an error "Unable to process card." I have a free hulu account and the spotify premium for students. I have tried contacting hulu support, but they were unsuccessful as well. Does anyone have any ideas on a fix?

Seeing this problem still. I spent an hour being bumped between Hulu and Spotify and neither of them could figure out the problem.
