It's possible that the US is the currently selected region for the website, which is why the page looks like this. No worries though, you can change it by scrolling all the way down to the bottom of the page - the region settings will be located on the bottom-right. Click on the current region to change it and select your country from the list.
You can also change the region from the URL itself - yours should currently look like this: spotify.com/. From here you can replace "us" with "at" and refresh the page, so it looks like this: spotify.com/.
Since you mentioned you're verified, do you mean that you received a confirmation email from SheerID? If yes, then it's recommended you follow all steps in it to complete the process. Your plan should switch to Premium Student from your next billing date.
