[UNI PLAN] Still no Spotify support on SheerID's verification issue despite proof of being a student

SheerID's verification to renew my university plan isn't working, unlike last year, when it worked just fine. I'm still within the four-year term of the student benefit, and I have attached three different files to the verification webpage (class schedule, student letter confirmation, and tax invoice). Also, the university is already registered in their system, but the verification fails. When sharing this issue (and the files) in every email I sent to SheerID, they close the tickets with a vague answer and without a justification or solution. But why?! They don't explain anything and leave me in the dark!

 

Even worse, when speaking to the Spotify team more than once via chat, its consultants respond with the same attitude: they say I have to resolve this verification issue with SheerID and not with Spotify — when the problem is SheerID and Spotify, the one that should help me in the end.

 

The situation is so absurd that I will soon lose the benefit, without knowing why or receiving support from anyone. As a loyal Spotify customer since 2014, I'm reconsidering keeping it. So, sharing this problem here is my last resort before migrating to the competition for good.

 

Below is the response I've received every time from SheerID for almost two months (withholding their consultant's name):

 

"Hello,

Thanks for contacting SheerID.

We were unable to process your verification request. While we can't offer further details or support for this specific inquiry, please ensure all information submitted is accurate and meets the eligibility criteria for future attempts. Your ticket has now been permanently closed.

Verification Support Team Lead
SheerID"

SheerID's customer support also said that to me. I couldn't even verify my student identity. Horrible service.
