not eligible for student discount

I am 18, and will be attending University of Maryland, Baltimore County in about a month. I have received news from my school saying that I can apply for Student Discount, but when I go to apply it says I am not eligible. I even tried to make a new spotify with my school email, and it still will not work.

When you signed up for your Student Discount, was your school listed on school list? If so do you have your Student ID yet? Usually you will get it in your Acceptance Letter or during Orientation. If you haven't gotten your Student ID yet then you will have to wait till you get your ID.
