This week we celebrated 10 years since the Spotify Community launched on February 8, 2012. Time flies when we're having fun in the Community! 🎂 🔟 💚

When did you start using the Spotify Community forum?

To view the year you created your Community account, you can click your username at the top of the page and go to your profile and look at the "member since" section.

Also, let us know why you started using the Spotify Community.

Was it to get help, post feedback, vote on ideas, chat about music, etc?

I started using the Spotify Community in 2012 right away after it launched.

The main reason I made an account was to post the idea for a Repeat One option. I stayed around to help other users and provide my feedback to improve the Spotify app, and now I've been a member of the Spotify Stars Program for almost 10 years.

I started useing when spotify  get me acces .First time Spptify came 8n Bosnia 2020 . After when I meet Spotify I make some mistake because I change mail and when I realzaid how its work I stat to use.

Great question Matt! I was introduced to the community in 2018 by searching ways to engage with people on Spotify. This community expanded my taste in music and a greater appreciation for it.

I joined the Spotify Community in 2014, although I didn’t post anything at the time, and don’t remember my reason for creating a Community account 😅

2019 was the year when I began actively participating on the Spotify Community, initially to share my playlists and see if anyone else on the Community likes the same genres of music and artists as I do. I think I might have posted a playlist in a thread on the Community in 2018, but I’m not 100% certain about that; and the earliest posts on my profile are from 2019.

I actually just found out about the Spotify Community last week. It's a great place to read about artists, podcast suggestions, and overall ideas about the platform.

I've been an active member 2016-12-14 10:40 PM, but started using Spotify on 2011-12-. My first community contribution was on 2019-05-06 when I was trying to find a way to make it so my "Discover Weekly" playlist wouldn't pay attention to the chill out work music I listened to (I didn't want to discover new music based on boring background music!). I used the community to figure out software workarounds and to give ideas that might improve the user experience (which I still do).

I apparently made my user in one afternoon in 2015. That's what my profile says: 2015-03-11 2:41 PM
Spotify web player had just got a facelift which dropped the play queue feature. It was something i heavily relied on, so I joined the front of displeased web player users... : ) And I found out a way on how to revert to the old version using user agent spoofs from someone in here, and committed to spreading that information to others.
And thanks to this commitment I'm now here!

2015 was also the year I discovered Amon Tobin (in October though), so here's the song that proceeded to rock my world in the coming years:

And now I'm part of another very lovely little community consisting of Amon Tobin fans, and Amon himself is also there, popping in now and then to chat with us. : )

I’ve been in this community forum ever since June 29, 2020. I joined because their was an issue with the app (that is now resolved).
